"Exercise not only changes your body. It changes your mind, your attitude and your mood."

At Milford, we strive to create a culture which aims to inspire an active generation who enjoy PE, encourage each other and achieve.
Our high-quality physical education curriculum gives the children the opportunities to experience a wide variety of sports and to develop physical skills. Through these experiences, the children will acquire the tools and understanding to make a positive impact on their own physical health and well-being. We follow the Rising Stars scheme of work.
We aim to inspire our children to succeed and excel in competitive sport through our curriculum as well as inter school competitions. Our children are taught to observe and produce the conventions of fair play, honest competition and good sporting behaviour as individual participants, team members and spectators. This will embed life-long values such as co-operation, collaboration and equity of play.
